Information on Data Cables for FreeStyle® and Precision® Systems

In order to use the Copilot™ Health Management System or Precision Link® Direct Diabetes Management System, your meter needs to be connected to your PC properly with data cables. To make the setup process as easy as possible, some helpful information is provided below: Step 1: Purchase Serial Data Cables Online FreeStyle and Precision serial data cables are sold separately than meters and can be purchased online at www.MiniPharmacy.com or www.DiabeticExpress.com .

Step 2: Download the Data Management Software

Both the CoPilot Health Management System and Precision Link Direct Diabetes Data Management System software programs are available for download free of charge from Abbott Diabetes Care.

Visit the Software Downloads page in order to:

• Register for the FreeStyle or Precision system software downloads
• Find supporting items that will help you get started

Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive an email with a link to your download and setup instructions. If you have any questions or are experiencing difficulties downloading the software from the Internet, call Customer Service at 1-888-522-5226.

Step 3: Install the Software

Prior to installing the software, it is important to confirm that you have the correct system requirements. View the CoPilot system product specifications page or the Precision Link system FAQs page for more information.

Step 4: Connect the Data Cable to Your PC
