Direct Dear Precision Link Direct Web User:
At Abbott Diabetes Care, we like to keep you informed of new product information. From our records, we understand that you are a current user of Precision Link software, which is designed to upload blood glucose and ketone results from your meter for reviewing and trending. To keep you informed, we are providing you with this important product update about an issue with the time and date function.
If the time and date are not set correctly on both your meter and computer, there is the potential that the incorrect time and date may be assigned to your results in the Precision Link software. The accuracy of the blood glucose and ketone results is not affected.
To ensure that your results in the Precision Link software have the correct time and date, please do the following:
- Prior to testing your blood glucose and ketone levels, verify the time and date on your meter are set correctly, and
- Prior to uploading data from your meter, verify that the time and date are set the same on both your meter and personal computer.
Additional Instructions for users of Precision Link software. Please keep this information with your Precision Link User's Guide for future reference. Should you have any questions about this information, please contact Customer Care, toll free at 1-888-466-0073.
Sincerely,
Tina Mazurkiewicz
